Uncle Eyyub and Aunt Fira gave us a wedding present in the form of a
luxury seaside weekend vacation. Azerbaijan's Caspian coast is
definitely an underdiscovered resort spot. The hotel (not really
shown here) was sleek and new, the breeze was refreshing, the sea was
clean and warm, the food and service were good. Leyla had a sore
throat and I was a little weak from an earlier 24-hour bug, otherwise
it would have been perfect. But what better way to recover? It was a
wonderful present.
