Musee Cluny is one of Leyla's favorite museums. After the intimidating
immensity of the Louvre, Cluny is a cozy place to spend a couple of
hours. The chief attraction of Cluny is a series of large, similar
yet different tapestries titled the Lady and the Unicorn. Cluny
houses medieval woodcarvings, fabrics, stained glass window fragments,
church artifacts. It also has the original heads of the sculptures of
the Kings of Judah from Notre Dame. They were "beheaded" by
overzealous and misinformed French revolutionaries who thought the
sculptures were ancestors of the French king.
